DITP and GIT crown the winners of “Ruby Contest, the King of Gems at the 59th Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair
Mrs Chantira Jimreivat Vivatrat, Inspector General of the Ministry of Commerce presented the certificates to winners of the Ruby Contest, at World Ruby Forum 2017 exhibition booth inside the 59th Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair, held until February 26, 2017 at the Challenger 1-3, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani. Joined her were Dr. Pornsawat Wattanakul, the Director of the Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand (GIT) and Mr. Henry Ho, Founder and President of the Asian Institute of Gemological Sciences (AIG).
The Ruby Contest is one of the kick off publicity activities of the upcoming World Ruby Forum, to be held in November 2017 by the GIT, in collaboration with Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), The Association of Gemology for France (AFG) and related organizations.
